Bible verses when you feel anxious

Anxiety squeezes your chest and thoughts. Shift from looping worry to spoken prayer and a single action you can do today.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Trade worry for words.

List worries and rewrite each as a one-line prayer.

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Stay with today.

Choose one task for today and finish only that.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Fear is a cue to trust.

Each time fear spikes, whisper “I trust You.”

You are not alone.

Write “With me” on your hand; breathe slowly when you see it.
